Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (10-hour day shift noted). Rotating on-call covering evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Call expectation: 7 days per month with one weekend per month.

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during interventional procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, PTCA, coronary and peripheral stenting, thrombectomy and atherectomy
• Prepare, operate and maintain imaging equipment such as Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and Philips Laser System during procedures
• Perform cath lab patient monitoring before, during and after procedures and support pre/post procedure patient care
• Set up and utilize intracoronary imaging tools including IVUS and OCT and support use of coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices
• Support pacemaker insertions, carotid stenting and peripheral diagnostic/interventional procedures as needed
• Rotate through assigned areas, assist with patient transport, and complete duties as assigned to keep the lab running safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• RCIS certification and/or active X-Ray Technologist credentials (RCIS and X-Ray Technologist experience listed in role)
• Proven cath lab experience with procedures such as left/right heart cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy and atherectomy
• Familiarity with Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT and coronary/peripheral atherectomy devices
• Experience operating Siemens Artis Zee C-arm and using McKesson CPACS/Cardiology/Hemodynamic systems
• TAVR experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on cath lab patient monitoring and pre/post procedure care
• Interventional cardiology and interventional radiology support skills
• Fluoroscopy operation and C-arm imaging expertise
• Competence with intracoronary imaging (IVUS, OCT) and laser/atherectomy tools
• Ability to assist physicians during complex procedures and respond to on-call situations
