Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures (LHC, RHC) ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow
• Monitor and manage moderate sedation under established protocols
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment (Philips/Siemens) and ensure accurate documentation in Merge
• Respond promptly with ACLS/BLS skills during emergent situations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and tech staff to optimize patient care for advanced procedures (TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella)
• Educate patients and families about procedure expectations and post-procedure care

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (cardiac cath/cardiac imaging or similar acute care experience)
• Demonstrated cath lab circulating experience and competency with moderate sedation
• Comfortable with advanced cardiac and peripheral procedures (TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, Endovascular AAA)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and cath lab workflow
• Experience with Merge documentation systems
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment
• Ability to monitor sedation and respond with ACLS/BLS interventions
• Skill in patient positioning, sterile technique, and procedural support
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented interventional environment
