Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with and support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures such as LHC, PCI, PVI, PPM and EPS
• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging equipment including Philips and Siemens systems
• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for cases and maintain sterile technique
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and the cath team to ensure smooth, safe procedures
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in Meditech and MacLab
• Provide on-call coverage when scheduled and respond promptly to emergent cases
• Mentor and educate junior staff and support a learning-focused unit culture

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• RCIS required (panning x-ray table competency noted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Interventional cath lab experience required (1 year experience indicated)
• Comfortable with EP and neuro cases is a plus
• Ability to work day shifts and participate in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Interventional cardiology procedures (LHC, PCI, PVI, PPM, EPS, IR)
• Cath lab imaging and equipment experience with Philips and Siemens
• Experience with EMR systems: Meditech and MacLab
• Strong sterile technique and procedural prep skills
• Comfort with on-call coverage and emergent case response
• Ability to teach and mentor less experienced staff
