Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate GE MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for a variety of studies
• Perform both contrast and non-contrast MRI exams with strict attention to safety and protocol
• Prepare and administer MRI contrast agents following facility procedures and safety checks
• Document exams and patient information accurately in Cerner to ensure clear clinical communication
• Position patients with care and provide education to reduce anxiety and improve image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to prioritize studies and deliver timely results
• Support unit staffing during rotating weekends and contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications

• MRI registration/certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience as indicated
• Experience with MRI contrast and non-contrast protocols
• Familiarity with GE MRI systems and Cerner EMR is strongly preferred
• Breast MRI experience is a plus and will be considered favorably
• Ability to work day shifts and rotating weekends for the duration of the assignment

Education

• MRI registration / MRI certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• MRI imaging techniques including contrast and non-contrast studies
• Proficiency with GE MRI scanners
• Experience using Cerner for documentation and workflow
• Patient positioning, safety screening, and contraindication recognition
• Image quality optimization and troubleshooting
• Strong communication and teamwork for a fast-paced radiology environment
