Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and perform high-quality computed tomography exams with care and precision
• Perform general radiography as needed to support patient diagnosis
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout imaging procedures
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain proper documentation for each exam
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to deliver timely patient care
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in routine quality assurance checks
• Provide clear, compassionate patient education and pre-/post-procedure instructions

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography and/or CT or eligible for certification
• Current state Radiologic Technologist license or ability to obtain state licensure quickly
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Experience with CT imaging and general radiography; prior overnight or 12-hour shift experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts
• Compliance with employer onboarding and credentialing requirements

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
• Completion of an accredited radiography or CT program

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of CT protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiation safety
• Proficiency with PACS and electronic medical record documentation
• Skilled patient positioning and image optimization for diagnostic quality
• Ability to handle urgent and emergent imaging situations calmly and efficiently
• Basic equipment troubleshooting and participation in preventive maintenance
