Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients under referring physician orders and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans that maximize functional potential.
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic procedures and train patients in the use of assistive devices to improve independence in daily activities.
Collaborate with the Rehabilitation Services Manager and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
Document patient progress, maintain accurate clinical records, and ensure compliance with the State Practice Act and facility policies.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs, adaptive strategies, and safety to support long-term outcomes.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical meetings to enhance program effectiveness.

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapist License (required).
Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy (required).
Ability to evaluate and treat patients under physician orders and function in accordance with the State Practice Act.
Comfort working full-time daytime schedule; strong communication and teamwork skills.
