Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams, including routine CT, CTA with perfusion, and trauma imaging
• Operate and maintain GE CT scanners (required) and Philips systems (preferred) to deliver reliable imaging
• Administer contrast safely using MedRad injectors and follow established protocols
• Document exams accurately in Cerner and manage images within PACS/DR systems
• Collaborate closely with ER and inpatient teams to support timely, life-saving care
• Maintain patient safety, radiation protection, and BLS protocols at all times
• Participate in a one-week, 1:1 orientation to learn unit workflow and equipment

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• MRTBE CRT and CTCT certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience; GE CT scanner experience required; Philips experience preferred
• Comfortable working in inpatient and ER settings and handling trauma cases
• Ability to work the specified Thursday–Saturday schedule and occasional weekend needs

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program; ARRT certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with CT imaging protocols, CTA with perfusion, and trauma imaging workflows
• Experience with GE CT scanners and familiarity with Philips ICT systems
• Charting and image management in Cerner and PACS/DR systems
• Skilled in patient positioning, contrast administration, and radiation safety
• Strong communication and teamwork in fast-paced acute care environments
• Ability to prioritize cases and maintain composure during high-volume shifts
