Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular sonography studies including ABI, carotid, renal, abdominal, venous and arterial exams
• Independently manage complex studies and patient schedules with confidence
• Conduct lower extremity reflux studies and additional vascular procedures as needed
• Document findings accurately in MediTech Expanse and maintain clear patient records
• Collaborate with radiology and vascular teams to ensure timely, patient-centered care
• Participate in every-other-weekend on-call rotation (08:00 AM - 12:00 PM) and respond professionally when called

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
• Must be registered in the state of New Hampshire (NH) — required
• RDMS certification — preferred
• Minimum ~2 years of vascular sonography experience (as listed)
• Comfortable using GE ultrasound systems and learning pTCO2 protocols as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and sonographic techniques for arterial and venous studies
• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment
• Experience with MediTech Expanse or similar EMR systems for documentation
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner for 1:1 patient care
• Ability to manage time, prioritize studies, and work independently as a self-starter
• Willingness to learn additional protocols (pTCO2) and adapt to unit workflows
