Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients under orders from the referring physician and determine individualized care needs.
Develop and implement treatment programs using a variety of therapeutic procedures and modalities.
Restore and improve muscle strength, range of motion, coordination, and body alignment.
Apply pain-control strategies to improve patient movement and functional outcomes.
Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress in line with facility policies.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
Work in accordance with the California State Practice Act and facility protocols to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

Current CA Physical Therapist License (required)
Ability to evaluate and treat patients per physician orders
Strong documentation and patient communication skills
Commitment to practice in accordance with the State Practice Act
