Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators and provide advanced ventilator support to critically ill patients
• Perform ABG sampling and interpretation to guide respiratory care decisions
• Deliver nebulizer treatments and other airway therapies with precision
• Assist with intubation, rapid responses and code situations as a reliable team responder
• Assess respiratory status and develop patient-focused care plans
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the care team to optimize outcomes
• Document interventions and changes in patient status clearly in the medical record

Qualifications

• Active RRT credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist) — specialty listed as RRT
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (critical care/ventilator experience preferred)
• Comfortable with ventilator management and critical care procedures
• Demonstrated assessment skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Ability to work night shifts and contribute as a dependable team player

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or equivalent training

Knowledge & Skills

• Ventilator management and experience with Servo and 840 ventilators
• Critical care respiratory therapy practices and assessment skills
• Proficiency in ABG collection and interpretation
• Nebulizer treatments, airway management and intubation assistance
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar EMR systems (preferred)
• Strong teamwork, communication and rapid-response readiness
