Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends; Typical hours listed: 7:00 AM - 10:30 PM (M-T as listed) and 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Sat-Sun). Posted/illustrative shift window: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM. Title note indicates evening coverage on Friday/Saturday (7:00 PM). Rotating weekends and on-call rotation expected.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams with and without contrast, delivering excellent patient care from prep through recovery
• Operate and troubleshoot GE MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Follow imaging protocols and adapt to specialty exams such as breast MRI when required
• Document exams and patient information accurately in Cerner EMR
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including screening for MRI contraindications and monitoring during contrast administration
• Communicate clearly with radiologists, technologists and nursing staff to support efficient workflow
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities as scheduled

Qualifications

• MRI registration and required MRI certification (must have)
• Minimum 2+ years of MRI technologist experience (explicit requirement)
• Breast MRI experience is preferred and will be considered a plus
• Comfortable working rotating weekends and extended hours
• Familiarity with GE MRI systems and Cerner EMR
• Willingness to follow unit dress code (black scrubs)

Education

• MRI certification required; specific degree not listed in posting

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in MRI imaging protocols including contrast and non-contrast studies
• Experience operating GE MRI equipment and understanding of system workflows
• Skilled with Cerner EMR documentation and image workflow
• Strong patient positioning, safety and communication skills
• Ability to perform specialty exams such as breast MRI
