Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures (LHC, PCI, PVI, IR cases) using sterile technique and best practices
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment (Philips & Siemens) and document procedures in Meditech/MacLab
• Prepare patients, instruments, and equipment for EP and neuro procedures including PPM and EPS
• Collaborate closely with interventional physicians, nurses, and the cath lab team to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Provide clear, compassionate patient education and post-procedure instructions
• Mentor and support junior staff and students, fostering a learning-focused environment
• Maintain accurate procedural logs, radiation safety practices (panning x-ray table), and unit-specific documentation

Qualifications

• ARRT (registered) required
• RCIS required (panning x-ray table experience required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Interventional cath lab experience (must have)
• EP or neuro experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (as listed in the posting)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with cardiac cath lab procedures: LHC, PCI, PVI, PPM, EPS, IR and neuro cases
• Experience with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Familiarity with Meditech and MacLab EMR systems
• Strong sterile technique, radiation safety and procedural documentation skills
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced interventional settings
• Ability to mentor and educate less experienced staff
