Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, days vary (per diem scheduling), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, evening/night shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes promptly
Support safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility assistance
Help maintain a clean, comfortable and dignified environment for residents
Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Document care delivered and follow facility policies and infection control procedures

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (CNA) required
Active state CNA license or certification valid for Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered, compassionate care
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and able to lift or assist patients as needed

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in activities of daily living support and basic patient care
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
Strong observation skills and ability to report clinical changes
Comfortable using basic electronic charting or paper documentation
Customer service mindset with empathy for patients and families
