Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound studies including ABI, carotid, renal, aortic, abdominal, venous and arterial exams, and lower extremity reflux studies
• Operate and maintain GE ultrasound equipment, ensuring quality images and proper equipment care
• Document findings accurately and promptly in MediTech Expanse to support timely patient care
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and the care team to prioritize and manage complex studies
• Provide compassionate patient care—preparing patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout the exam
• Participate in the every-other-weekend on-call rotation (0800-1200) and respond professionally to urgent needs
• Adhere to RVT/BLS protocols and state regulations to maintain a safe, compliant environment

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) — required
• State registration in New Hampshire — MUST be registered in NH
• Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience (as listed in the posting)
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) — preferred
• Experience with GE ultrasound systems and MediTech Expanse — preferred
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage complex schedules

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of vascular ultrasound procedures (ABI, carotid, renal, AO, abdominal, venous/arterial, lower extremity reflux)
• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment and image optimization
• Comfortable documenting and navigating MediTech Expanse EMR
• Strong patient communication and bedside manner
• Excellent time management, prioritization and on-call triage skills
• Attention to detail for accurate measurements and diagnostic-quality imaging
