Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiography (EKG) testing accurately and efficiently to support patient diagnosis
• Prepare patients for procedures with compassionate, clear communication and proper lead placement
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate results
• Maintain and troubleshoot EKG equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control standards
• Document procedures and patient information precisely in the clinical record
• Support workflow by prioritizing tasks and escalating urgent findings to clinical staff

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an EKG Technician or in a similar clinical role
• Hands-on experience with electrocardiography and radiology environment
• Certification as an EKG Technician or relevant credential preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong patient communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Electrocardiography (EKG/ECG) technique and lead placement
• Familiarity with radiology department workflow and safety practices
• Patient positioning, preparation, and infection control
• Attention to detail for accurate data capture and documentation
• Clear communication with patients and multidisciplinary teams
