Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams across modalities including portable, OR, ED trauma, and fluoroscopic procedures
• Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, including GE radiology rooms, GE/Shiatzu portables, OEC C-arms, and Medtronics O-arms
• Provide compassionate patient care and communication during imaging procedures to ensure comfort and safety
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams in the OR and ED to deliver timely imaging for acute cases
• Accurately document exams and patient data in Cerner RadNet and maintain clear clinical records
• Follow infection control, radiation safety, and unit policies while contributing to a positive team environment

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience preferred (experience in diagnostic, portable, OR, and ED trauma highly valued)
• Comfortable with fluoroscopic procedures and surgical imaging environments
• Familiarity with Cerner RadNet or similar radiology information systems preferred
• Team player who can work independently when needed and adapt to rotating weekend schedules

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in diagnostic radiology and portable radiography
• Experience with OR imaging, C-arm and O-arm operation
• Proficiency in ED trauma imaging and rapid, accurate imaging under pressure
• Knowledge of fluoroscopic procedure support and safety
• Ability to use Cerner RadNet for documentation and image workflow
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and workflow in a large, fast-paced hospital
