Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to help patients reach their highest level of function
• Design and deliver therapeutic exercise and activity programs to improve strength, range of motion, and fine motor coordination
• Train patients and families in the use of adaptive equipment and home programs to maximize independence
• Perform home assessments and consult on environmental adaptations and safety
• Create, maintain, and submit timely, accurate patient documentation and reports
• Provide sensorimotor integration and visual perceptual-motor remediation therapies as indicated
• Conduct prevocational programming to prepare patients for return to work or new job skills
• Participate in quality improvement activities and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current valid WA state Occupational Therapist license required (or in process of obtaining)
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new grads are welcome and encouraged to apply
• Ability to follow departmental policies, maintain confidentiality (HIPAA), and participate in mandatory training
• Professional communication skills for patient/family education and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Reliable attendance, ability to check and respond to work email at least once per shift

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy

• Occupational therapy evaluations and treatment planning
• Therapeutic exercises, splinting, and adaptive equipment training
• Patient documentation and clinical reporting
• Home assessment and environmental modification recommendations
