Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility, making sure residents stay comfortable and secure
• Support mealtime assistance and feeding when needed, ensuring dignity and respect
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Follow infection control policies and keep resident areas clean and safe
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote the best outcomes

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (state required) — please be able to provide proof
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and health immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first mindset
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work the full scheduled shift

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADLs (bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting) with a focus on patient dignity
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
• Good documentation and time-management skills
• Team-player attitude and clear communication with nursing staff and families
