Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and communicate changes in condition to the care team
Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met
Maintain accurate documentation and follow established care plans and protocols
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable performing hands-on patient care and assisting with mobility
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a caring team
Local candidate or reliable transportation — this posting is local-only

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in safe patient handling and transfers
Proficient with taking vitals and recognizing changes in resident status
Knowledgeable about infection control and standard precautions
Ability to chart accurately and communicate observations clearly
Compassionate approach to resident-centered care and respectful interactions
