Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic imaging exams for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
• Administer IV contrast safely and document procedures according to protocol
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as the Siemens Somatom 40-slice CT and Carestream X-ray systems
• Enter and manage imaging data accurately in HMS Medhost and other EMRs
• Apply radiation safety practices and maintain infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdepartmental staff to deliver patient-centered care
• Provide compassionate patient preparation, positioning, and education to ensure comfort and compliance
• Work independently and efficiently while prioritizing patient safety and exam quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current Imaging/CT/X-Ray experience (required)
• ARRT (CT) certification required (ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) referenced in posting)
• BLS certification required
• NH MIRT (New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy) license required and must be in-hand
• IV skills required; ability to administer IV contrast confidently
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Proficiency with MediTech, Philips, Siemens, AGFA DR, OEC C-arm highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Radiologic Technology or related field)

Knowledge & Skills

• CT scanning and diagnostic radiography best practices
• IV contrast administration and monitoring
• Radiation safety and QA procedures
• Patient care across all age groups (newborn to geriatric)
• Experience with EMR: HMS Medhost and familiarity with MediTech
• Experience with Siemens Somatom 40-slice CT and Carestream X-ray equipment
• Comfort using Philips, AGFA DR and OEC C-arm imaging systems
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
