Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, schedule varies, weekend rotation required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to medical-surgical overflow patients including those with CHF, DM, UTI, and sepsis
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
Titrate Heparin and Cardizem drips as ordered
Collaborate with Charge Nurse and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Float as needed to support other units
Document patient progress and communicate with physicians

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or Compact State license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
Experience with med-surg and telemetry patients
Ability to titrate drips (Heparin, Cardizem) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Knowledge of CHF, DM, UTI, and sepsis management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with floating and adapting to unit needs
