Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, including every other weekend and rotating holidays, with self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to patients on a 22-bed Med Surg/Ortho unit
Manage post-surgical patients including total knee, hip, ankle, shoulder, and spine replacements
Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure patient ratios of 1:5-6
Titrate pain medications, antibiotics, and blood products as needed
Float to Med Surg, rehab, or PCU taking Med Surg acuity when required
Participate in open-book skills exam during orientation to showcase your knowledge

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg/Ortho experience preferred
Driver's license required for radius rule verification
Willingness to adhere to facility policies including artificial nail prohibition
