Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support for patients and families
Coordinate discharges and link patients to community resources
Facilitate 5150 evaluations and ensure appropriate placement for involuntary holds
Document all interactions thoroughly and maintain compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

Active California LCSW license (required at time of submission)
BLS certification (required)
5150 certification in California (must be able to obtain or already have)
Prior experience with Dignity Health or CommonSpirit facilities in California (mandatory)
Two supervisory references: one within 12 months, one within 3 years

Education

Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills for psychiatric conditions
Knowledge of California mental health laws and 5150 procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation
