Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating days and nights, with weekend requirements (4 weekend shifts per 8 weeks)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry and interpret EKG rhythms for neuro patients
Titrate drips including Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes with sterile field
Provide comprehensive care for patients with CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and other neurological conditions
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Conduct bedside report and ensure safe handoffs

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a Level 1 Trauma center or similar setting
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Neuro experience highly preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Proficiency in sterile field technique for Foley and central line procedures
Ability to titrate drips and interpret EKG independently

Tele monitoring and EKG interpretation
Cerner EMR proficiency
Foley catheter insertion and care
Central line dressing changes
Titration of cardiac drips
Neuro assessment and patient management
