Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, schedule includes weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse med-surg/telemetry patient population (CHF, DM, UTI, COPD, post-op, palliative, and more)
Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret strips accurately
Titrate Heparin and Cardizem drips within established protocols
Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and respiratory therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float as needed to support other units and maintain continuity of care
Participate in a 2-shift orientation to quickly get up to speed on unit workflows

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care
Active BLS certification
Active Washington State RN license or Compact License
Experience with telemetry monitoring and drip titration (Heparin and Cardizem)

Knowledge & Skills

Med-Surg nursing skills
Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration (Heparin and Cardizem)
Acute care patient management
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
