Location: Glendale, AZ

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied start times, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday call every 5-6 weeks, one call day per week.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during robotic, orthopedic, urologic, gynecologic, and general surgical procedures
Manage robotic arms, add sutures, mesh, and flushing as needed without assistant
Prepare and maintain sterile field and operating room equipment
Collaborate with charge nurse and surgical team for optimal patient outcomes
Float to main campus and other facilities as required

Qualifications

Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year experience with robotic surgery (managing arms and instrumentation)
Experience in orthopedics, urology, endoscopy, GYN, and general surgery
Ability to take call shifts including weekends and one call day per week

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in robotic surgery systems (da Vinci or similar)
Experience with Cerner and Surginet EMR systems
Knowledge of bariatric, pediatric, and endoscopy procedures
Strong sterile technique and aseptic practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
