Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans following established protocols
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents safely
Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
Collaborate with radiologists to optimize image quality
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly
Document procedures accurately in patient records

Qualifications

Valid ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Current California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience with PET/CT imaging preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Proficient in PET/CT scanner operation and quality control
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
