Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as per schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to patients across multiple MS/Tele units including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Ortho, and more
Float within Zone 3 covering hospitals within a 60-mile radius of Denver city center
Titrate heparin drips and manage telemetry monitoring for stable to acutely ill patients
Collaborate with a diverse interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit settings and patient populations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
Current and unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Neuro experience preferred
Willingness to float within a 60-mile zone and work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong MS-Tele nursing skills with ability to care for diverse patient populations
Proficiency in titrating drips and managing cardiac monitors
Excellent communication and adaptability for floating between units
Critical thinking and rapid decision-making in Just-In-Time scheduling
Team collaboration and patient advocacy
