Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Weekdays, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (varied start times between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, occasional weekend shifts with compensatory day off)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy to diverse acute care patients across medsurg, tele, ICU, oncology, and cardiology units
Manage orthopedic and total joint cases with confidence and expertise
Provide therapy for ventilated patients in the ICU, making a critical impact
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Hit the ground running with minimal orientation in a fast-paced hospital setting

Qualifications

Active California PT license required
BLS certification from AHA required
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience preferred
Experience with orthopedics, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients
Proficiency in Cerner EMR is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in acute care physical therapy across multiple patient populations
Strong orthopedic and total joint management skills
Comfortable working with ICU and ventilated patients
Excellent documentation skills with Cerner EMR
Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
