Location: Prescott, AZ

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes 2 weekends per 4-week schedule and holiday requirements as per facility policy.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for cardiac patients
Provide comprehensive care for patients with CHF, COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, and post-cath conditions
Administer set-rate Cardizem drips and other medications
Collaborate with charge nurse, house supervisor, and interdisciplinary team
Float to East Campus or PCU as needed
Educate patients and families on health management

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Experience with CVA and TIA patients preferred
Total joint replacement experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience recommended (only 1 day of orientation)

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Medical-surgical nursing including cardiac, respiratory, diabetic, and GI care
CVA and TIA patient management
Cardizem drip administration at set rate
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
