Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans following physician orders
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Operate advanced imaging equipment and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with radiologists to optimize scan quality
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
Educate patients on procedure details and answer any questions

Qualifications

Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiography
Current California state license as a Radiologic Technologist
At least 1 year of experience in PET/CT imaging preferred
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in PET/CT scanning protocols and anatomy
Proficient with PACS and imaging software
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
