Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Frisco, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays, with on-call requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations including vascular, abdominal, liver, renal, thyroid, AAA, breast, and carotid studies
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to provide accurate results
Maintain equipment and supply inventory for smooth daily operations
Document patient history and exam findings in Epic and PACS systems

Qualifications

Must have strong vascular ultrasound experience
ARDMS certification required (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) - RVT preferred
Current BLS certification
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call
Comfortable using GE and Philips ultrasound equipment

Knowledge & Skills

Vascular ultrasound techniques
Abdominal and small parts imaging
Proficiency in PACS and Epic EMR systems
Strong patient communication and bedside manner
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
