Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, self-schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population on a mixed PCU/Oncology/MedSurg unit
Monitor and manage patients with hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, Aline, Swan, and EV-1000
Administer chemotherapy and manage common drips such as heparin, cardizem, and insulin
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dieticians
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed to ensure safe staffing

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of PCU/Oncology experience required
First-time travelers welcome
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred, chemotherapy certification also preferred
EPIC experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem
Comfortable with oncology patient care from diagnosis to end of life
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to hourly rounding and patient experience
