Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients, from diagnosis to remission or end-of-life
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex drips such as heparin, cardizem, and insulin
Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed, ensuring consistent quality of care

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent PCU/Med Surg/Oncology experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC and Chemotherapy certification required
First-time travelers welcome to apply
Must reside outside 50 miles from Omaha (driver's license verified)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
Ability to titrate anticoagulants and cardiac drips
Strong teamwork and patient-centered communication
