Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every 3rd weekend, holiday requirement

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and treatments for patients across all age ranges
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator management
Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and perform EKGs as needed
Collaborate with ER, inpatient, and outpatient teams to provide exceptional care
Independently manage respiratory emergencies and maintain airway patency
Document patient progress in Meditech EMR system

Qualifications

Active North Dakota Respiratory Therapy License required at time of submission
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Previous travel experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and handle being the only RT in-house on some shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with PB980 and Hamilton C1 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, and high-flow equipment
Competent in ABG collection and analysis
Experience with Meditech EMR
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
