Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating every other week; every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert cardiac and telemetry monitoring for a diverse patient population
Titrate critical drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro with confidence
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, techs, and charge nurses to ensure optimal outcomes
Float to PCU or MS units as needed to support the team
Deliver compassionate care to adults and geriatrics with cardiac conditions, sepsis, and respiratory issues

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience
Must be comfortable reading and interpreting cardiac strips
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry and cardiac care expertise
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Ability to handle a fast-paced, 32-bed unit with 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratios
Proficiency in managing BiPAP, trachs, and high-flow oxygen equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
