Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied 10-hour shifts (4 shifts per week), including weekend and weekday on-call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care in a fast-paced OR environment
Assist in orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures with precision and compassion
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
Monitor patient vitals and respond quickly to changes during surgery

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska (or compact state) required
Minimum 2 years of OR experience, including Level 1 or Level 2 trauma
Must have Orthopedic and Neuro OR experience
ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
Strong call rotation willingness (every 4-5th weekend and one weekday per week)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Operating Room procedures and sterile technique
Proficient in orthopedic and neurosurgical nursing
Skilled in patient assessment and critical thinking under pressure
Familiarity with Point Click EMR system
