Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts rotating between days and nights (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neurological, and medical-surgical conditions
Monitor continuous EEG and telemetry, titrating drips like Cardizem and beta-blockers as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
Float to ICU, medical floors, or rehab units when required
Participate in a fast-paced environment that values positive attitude, teamwork, and critical thinking

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Willing to pass an open-book exam with 90% during orientation
Valid driver's license required for mileage verification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in titrating IV drips and managing cardiac drips
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Positive attitude with a focus on helping others
