Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, schedule varies based on unit needs; weekend and holiday rotation required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips
Titrate heparin and cardizem drips as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient care
Float to other units as needed
Manage patient assignments with a ratio of 1:4/1:5

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in Washington or Compact state
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience

Knowledge & Skills

Med-Surg and Telemetry nursing
Acute care patient management
Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
IV drip titration (Heparin, Cardizem)
