Location: Centennial, Colorado

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), schedule released 4-6 weeks in advance, includes weekend rotations (6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in medical-surgical and telemetry units
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) as needed
Titrate heparin drips and manage telemetry monitoring
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Step into charge nurse role when necessary to support unit operations
Adapt quickly to different unit specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more

Qualifications

2+ years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required
Prior neuro experience preferred
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Willingness to float across a 60-mile radius zone without a home base facility
Flexibility to work rotating 12-hour shifts and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medical-surgical and telemetry nursing skills
Ability to titrate heparin drips
Experience with diverse patient populations and multiple specialties
Flexibility and adaptability to float across different facilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
