Location: Pendleton, OR

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; weekend requirement every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
Assist with routine and intermediate nursery care for newborns
Titrate drips including Pitocin, insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate as needed
Serve as charge nurse and collaborate with house supervisor
Float to other units as a helping hand when needed
Monitor fetal heart tracings using Centricity Perinatal system

Qualifications

Valid Oregon RN license or ability to obtain 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong independent skills in L&D, postpartum, and nursery care
Ability to titrate drips and manage multiple complex patients
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

L&D, postpartum, and nursery nursing
Intermediate nursery care including vent stabilization and bubble CPAP
Pitocin, insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate drip titration
Fetal monitoring interpretation
Charge nurse responsibilities
