Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 0600-1830 and 1800-0630, every third weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics across the entire facility
Manage ventilators (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, MR1, V-60) and non-invasive devices like CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow therapy
Work closely with physicians and nurses to develop and implement respiratory care plans
Make critical clinical judgments independently in the ICU, NICU, surgical, and medical units
Respond to codes and emergencies, ensuring life-saving respiratory support

Qualifications

Active Respiratory Therapist license in North Dakota (or compact state)
RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1+ years of NICU experience is a must
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neonatal to geriatric respiratory care
Proficiency with ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow therapy, and Airvo devices
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
