Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with weekend rotation (2 weekends per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients in an acute care setting, developing individualized care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient progress accurately using Meditech EMR
Provide education to patients and families for continued recovery
Precept and mentor new staff as needed by the unit

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred
BLS certification required
Proficiency in Meditech EMR
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage a diverse caseload including ortho, neuro, and critical care
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
