End Date: 10-26-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend and holiday required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and medical conditions
Monitor telemetry strips and interpret EKG rhythms to ensure patient safety
Titrate and manage critical drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced PCU-level environment
Serve as a patient advocate, educating patients and families on treatment plans

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum 1-2 years of PCU or telemetry experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips independently
Epic experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac care and telemetry monitoring skills
Proficiency in EKG strip interpretation
Experience with titratable drips and cardiac medications
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity settings
