Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide top-notch nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU
Manage cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and DM patients with continuous EEG monitoring
Titrate critical drips such as Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Proficiency in titrating intravenous medications
