Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), self-schedule, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients in a 28-bed mixed unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for reactions (certification preferred)
Titrate drips like insulin and cardizem as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units to support the team
Use EPIC EMR to document and coordinate patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska (or compact state)
1+ year of recent PCU/MedSurg/Oncology experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification preferred
Must pass an open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation
Driver's license required for submittal (to verify 50-mile radius rule)

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with oncology patients, trauma PCU, and med/surg care
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and drip titration
Comfortable with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, mixed-acuity unit
