Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
Titrate intravenous drips such as heparin, insulin, and octreotide
Manage patients with mixed medical/surgical, cardiac, and stroke conditions
Collaborate with charge nurse and multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes
Handle frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges efficiently
Float to Med/Surg and other areas as needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must be able to read and interpret telemetry
Experience in PCU or step-down setting preferred
Driver's license required for submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Ability to work in a high-acuity, rapid turnover unit
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
