Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU

Location: Garden City, KS

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (elective cases), plus 24/7 on-call including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage nursing operations for both the Cath Lab and ICU departments
Enhance nursing competency and foster a positive, collaborative culture
Provide bedside procedure support and administer moderate sedation
Oversee pre-procedure and recovery care for cardiac and interventional patients
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Current RN license in Kansas (or compact license eligible)
At least 3 years of RN experience required
At least 1 year of management or clinical leadership experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, CRRT (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care and telemetry knowledge
Leadership and team-building skills
Familiarity with fluoroscopy and cardiac procedural equipment
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
