Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 19:00 - 07:00, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of generalist laboratory testing to support patient diagnoses
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including EPIC Beaker system
Conduct phlebotomy on rare occasions with precision and care
Ensure accuracy and quality of test results through rigorous quality control
Collaborate with healthcare team to provide timely and reliable lab data
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Generalist in a clinical laboratory
MLT or MLS certification required
BLS certification preferred
Experience with EPIC Beaker laboratory information system
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in generalist laboratory procedures including hematology, chemistry, and coagulation
Skilled in venipuncture and specimen collection
Knowledge of quality control and laboratory safety standards
Familiarity with EPIC Beaker and other LIS systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
