Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver precise radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
Monitor patients during sessions and provide compassionate support
Maintain accurate treatment records and equipment logs
Educate patients and families on procedures and side effect management
Collaborate closely with dosimetrists, physicists, and oncology nurses

Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (required)
Nebraska state license as a Radiation Therapist
Current BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in linear accelerator operation and QA protocols
Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Experience with treatment planning systems (e.g., Eclipse, Pinnacle)
Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
